So basically American Express stopped my charging privileges for no apology asking for my tax returns! ... and surrounded by the conversation I had beside them they also told me that they checked my credit score (which is pretty high) but I never give them permission to do that! So can a Credit Card Company (of a card you already enjoy for some time) check your Credit Score/report whenever they want? Yes they can check your credit win. That is their right of assurance that you are not negligible of your details.

YES. They can check your gain without your sanction and they can mess it up without your concurrence as well.
