e set up a direct debit beside bt to pay respectively month, but a few weeks ago we were cut past its sell-by date due to non payment this be because bt had not set up the direct debit properly so we thought the bill be being remunerated when infact it had not, so today smebody from bt phoned us on a mobile and said that if we remunerated the remaining balance lb76 we would be reconnected once again i asked her to confirm this back i paid it but after i remunerated it she said she could not reconnect us and said that we would have to reapply i am tremendously annoyed and we are waiting for her manager to ring us what can we do properly because she did state that as soon as the bill was compensated we would be reconnected

Phone them posterior and hold for a manager and grant them hell.
You have be miss informed and BT usually record your call as well so they can re listen and should re connect you and impart you compensation for all this.

I feel BT record adjectives phone calls, if so ask the arranger to listen to the call to prove what the female said to you.

They have to reconnect you if you enjoy paid the bill.

doesn`t matter what you do, stick to your story and make sure the officer is aware of how pissed you are due to their incompetence. This way you may find a goodwill gesture of a reconnection charge self waived or something to lighten your pain. BT are so stupid. Drop into the conversation that your mum be gonna get a BT phone but you may communicate her not to bother and go elsewhere. if they dream up you can take away potential customers they will be more wiling to jump easy on you.
