They call you and tell you they are fraud prevention for your credit card company, ask for your pin on the support of your card and say that a company has taken money out of your credit card picture and that they are "fixing" it. If you get this call, communicate you will call your company right away and see what's going on. Don't give them any info at adjectives.

Why would they ask for your security code? Does anybody really believe that they don't know that no? They demonstrate your information when you contact them. You should return that favor.

gratefulness - people really need to realise to never dispense info. over the phone - ask for it in writing - or hang up and ring the company yourself

Thanks for the info. I am amazed nearly every time I am on here, how many people constantly are asking question about if this type of thing is a scam. I be taught not to give out personal information by my parents when I be very young, and it be also talked about surrounded by school, so I have never given out information over the phone or the Internet. Yes... get an email about that last year. I never confer out info over the phone.. even if Caller ID says it is from your company - it can be faked and not particularly hard to do either.
