Are nearby law requiring issues of revolving credit accounts to close do to disinterest? I heard not long that some new law were popping up contained

I heard not long that some new law were popping up contained by certain states (California be one mentioned) that would require credit card companies (and other issuers of revolving credit type accounts) to close or inactivate accounts when they reached 1 year of languor. The reason given for creating these latest laws be ID Theft prevention. Does anyone have any more specific details on such things?
Thanks.

Answers:    All CC usually will close your line, if you don't use them for 1 year. This not a regulation, banks protecting them self. Good Luck!
