I pay a $55 annual payment for this credit card. Should I ask them to drop the fee? Will they? I also own GM card with no annual levy, but have no burning desire to buy a coup¨¦ at this time.

Try asking them to waive your annual fee for the Worldperks Visa. Chances are that they will agree, but instead of letting you earn 1 point for every dollar you spend, they will probably move your point formula to one point for every two dollars that you spend.

Re: GM Card

GM has just this minute introduced another card called the GM Flex Card. This card let you earn 3% rebates for every purchase you produce (rather than 5% for the original GM Card). However, unlike the innovative GM Card, you can use the rebates you own earned to purchase another vehicle specifically not manufactured by GM.

You may want to check if your rebates can be transfered.
