Anyone know of a credit card that I would be approved for near a 645 FICO win? I have some past due payments on my credit history, but all
I have some past due payments on my credit history, but all of them be over 2 years ago. I have one credit card in a minute with roughly a $1,000 limit that I remuneration on time respectively month and have have for the past 3 years. I also own a car loan for give or take a few 6 months which I pay in good time also.
Thanks.
I enjoy placed this in the source box. There is a material comfort of information there and a great free debt organization software program. I bookmarked the site as I return to it often for the warning it offers. I hope this help you.
I would try Providian (now Washington Mutual I believe). I recieved this card when I had this type of credit evaluation. There are a lot of cards out nearby though that will accept you as a appendage for a yearly payment. It sucks paying to have a credit card but they do help out to increase your credit score so they are worth it contained by my opinion.
Answers: Of all the chief credit card issuers, Chase seems to hold the most lax approval process. I wouldn't consider your FICO score bad-- but it's conspicuously not perfect. So I would try the Chase Platinum card here:

Although you might not draw from their best interest rate, Chase usually provides an offer if your credit isn't bleak. Other issuers can be a little more strict.
Hope this help. GOOD LUCK!
First stale if you only want a tentative credit card to help modernize your FICO score and 645 is not even an average gain apply for a gas card or a department store card. Make sure there isn't an annual levy, no need to clear that. Use the card once a month or less. Charge a cistern of gas or some item you would normally wages for with lolly and be sure to pay the charges contained by full on time every time. That means of access the interest doesn't increase your payments. Applying for a new card will ding your FICO rack up a few more points but after 4-6 months your score will start creeping up. You enjoy time and history of ontime payments on your side, keep it up. Good luck, sounds close to you have approved to take responsibilty of your finances and raise your life.
don't use providian or washington mutual as near interest rates are very illustrious. go to chase as they enjoy several cards with no interest on them.
First, good for you for taking responsibility for your behavior and reputation by paying in good time. Timely payment is worth 35% of your FICO rack up.
10% of your FICO score is in the order of different types of credit, called your credit mix. Good types of credit are a mortgage, secured coup¨¦ loan, major credit card (MC,V, AmEx, Disc) and a department store card (Macy's, Home Depot, etc.). Bad types are payday loans, personal nouns lines of credit for cash advance, and overdraft loans. So, that one new card should swarm in any holes contained by your good credit mix. Ideally, you should enjoy one account of respectively type of good credit.
Before you apply, christen the new CC company and manufacture sure their policy is to report to ALL 3 Credit Reporting Agencies (CRAs) so that by using this new card, you'll know how to raise adjectives 3 FICO scores. If they don't usually report to all 3, find another card that will.
30% of your FICO win is about credit utilization: what percentage of your credit restrictions are you using? They score respectively individual CC account, and they win total of all revolving credit balance as a percentage of total of all revolving credit ends. If the utilization percentage is more than 30%, you can hurt your score. So, on that card next to the $1,000 limit, you should never own a balance of more than $300 (which is 30% of $1,000), even if you're paying it bad in full. A credit rack up is based on a snapshot of a moment contained by time. If your cc company reports to a CRA that you're running a $350 balance (even though you plan to money it off within 2 days), at the moment just beforehand a new creditor asks for your rack up, the FICO score the clean creditor sees suffers: your utilization is over 30%. You hold two solutions: (1) Ask for a raise contained by credit limit, or (2) catch another card and split your charges between the two cards, keeping the balances on both below 30% of their respective borders.
Do not close a credit card account of late because you pay it down to nought and don't want to use the card anymore. In addtion, the zero harmonize used on any credit limit help your utilization score, but onlu if the cc is still uncap.
Also, 15% of your FICO score is length of credit history. All CRAs use the number of months you've kept your cc instigate: the more months the higher your ranking. Equifax shows you the count in months on your credit report. The uppermost value is 99 months (8 years, 3 months), and the more months you hold on to a CC open, the more FICO points you can gain on the oldest card. Never close the oldest card. Keep it open beside a small purchase every few months, and then earnings it off surrounded by full.

"Providian or Washington Mutual. Reward credit cards reward you when you spend on the credit card. Normally, you can collect rewards through 3 ways.
