Has anyone asked a credit company to remove late payments. This is call a "goodwill" adjustment? If so did you have any luck?

I AM ASSUMING THAT THIS IS THE FIRST AND ONLY LATE PAYMENT YOU HAVE MADE -- YES MY GF HAD A LATE PAYMENT REMOVED SHE HAD ALWAYS PAID ON TIME BEFORE AND SHE DID FORGOT TO SENT IN THE PAYMENT. SHE DID NOT LIE - SHE FLAT TOLD THEM IT WAS STUPID MISTAKE ON HER PART AND THEY REMOVED THE LATE PAYMENT REPORT. OF COURSE IF THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME I WOULD SAY FORGET IT -- BUT IN THE FUTURE MAKE YOUR PAYMENT AS SOON AS YOU GET YOUR BILL AND PAY MORE THAT THE REQUIRED AMOUNT EVERY TIME AND AFTER A FEW MONTHS 4 OR 5 THAN TRY TO GET IT REMOVED. Payments received within thirty days of the due date are not reported to the credit bureaus. However, once a delinquency have been reported to the bureaus, within is little you can do it have it expunged from your paperwork.

Just keep paying in good time, and time will heal adjectives wounds.

You can however get the belatedly fee expunged rightly easily, or atleast a portion of the payment.

5 min. ago. the rep said it be a joy to work for citizens who were as nice as I. be style, maybe fib a bit and tell them that you did not receive a statement, or simply utter you've misplaced it. If your polite it should work GOOD LUCK

Once it has be reported to the credit bureaus, it is pretty hard to enjoy it removed... But by making your payments on time from here on out, the delayed payment put pen to paper should roll off (you would within fact be repairing your own overdue mark by making your allowance on time respectively month.
