my wife and her brother are both debt collectors. while they are sympathic to some they often quip that careless smart mouth debtors approaching me should receive a good butt whippin.if it be legal. my response is that the collectors are only apposite on the phone but in being they would be wimps.Id let them lash my behind if they would stumble upon me face to frontage are there any definite bill collectors out there that grain as my wife does or are you all wimps surrounded by person?

Answers: Keep this contained by mind. Most of the bill collectors I know of work out of office buildings beside very tight financial guarantee. The biggest one in this city works surrounded by a brick building, no signs or identifications to show they are a collection agency, and security that would impress Fort Knox.

Yes, they are wimps.

I am a previous collector for may years. there is not heaps professions that the professionals don't make joke of the other party. IE restaurants, sale, service jobs, A debt collector is no different, some are wimps some are not. A flawless collector pays his bills and lives by his/her reasoning. some people that owe bills enjoy had lawful problems, (unemployment, medical, health) some are just plain stupid and one cant backing but laugh at those. While a collector is helping himself within collecting the bill the party paying is hopefully find out of debt and can get a better grasp on finances contained by the long run. No debtor is due a butt whipping as you say but tons need to capture with sincerity and step up to the plate. Sad thing is the butt whipping is what plentiful people get to get themselves straightened out.

I'll step up to the plate on this one. I've be in consumer nouns for 30 years. Seems that I have see it all - done it adjectives.

Made loans. Collected loans - and yes - even had to knock on doors when prerequisite. My motto has other been - one corral call & problem resolved or it's time to surpass the (ir)responsibility on to the debtor and should they shirk that responsibility of contacting us in the adjectives - it's time to simply send the details legal.

I'll work next to anyone when they have circumstances beyond their control - loss of work, disorder, --- bad things surface to good general public. I know that. I am as fair a lender and collector as you will ever find.

There is a big difference between "can't pay" and "won't pay".

If someone falls within the "can't" category - they are met with compassion, suggestions and I'll even forgive payments and cut payments and interest rate if they show of late cause.

On the other paw ---- if they fall within the "won't" category - different story. At that point, yes - the gloves come off & I will collect. In doesn`t matter what legal channel are available to me. One shot they get and if they blow it - that be their choice.

I am very professional. And I do manipulate all aspects of collection one and the same - be it on the phone or at their home.

So yes. If this is what you mean by "brave" - I'm brave. And open-minded.
