Annualcreditreport.com really not free? In 2006, I went to this website and get my "free" annual

In 2006, I went to this website and get my "free" annual credit report. Or so I thought. Later that year I noticed that $12's have been taken out of my mound account every month by Triple Advantage since I get that "free" credit report. I don't know how they even got my credit card info, since I didn't afford it to them. When I called Triple Advantage to go against the membership (that I hadn't even signed up for), they told me that they hadn't be charging me money and that I didn't even have a sponsorship w/ them. Hmmm. So I called adjectives 3 credit company's with the annual credit report and adjectives of them told me that they had no sponsorship on file for me. So who be taking my money if the very ppl that show up on my sandbank statement deny doing it? I canceled that credit card, so they can't take my money anymore, but stillcould this come final later to retreat me?
There are 2 possibilities. The first is you did not step to annualcreditreport.com which is actually free. The second, and more expected is that when you were transferred to Experian, you did not read the fine print and you signed up for their credit monitoring service. I hold obtained copies of my own report though annualcreditreport.com, though credit monitoring services, and though outright purchase. I know from personal experience that YOU did something wrong.
Then you may enjoy misspelled the URL and did not go to https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i...

I newly got my second credit reports from AnnualCreditreport.com (I get my first credit reports from them last year and later week again for this year) and I was never charged.

Someone must hold used your credit card to sign up for that service, but I don't think it come from getting your reports from annualcreditreport.com

Afterall, if you actually go to the REAL AnnualCreditReport.com https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/i... , you won't be asked for your credit card information so they won't have your credit card information. So it is DEFINITELY not from AnnualCreditReport.com . Someone own stolen your credit card number and used it to buy that subscription

If you did not order that triple lead subscription, simply call your credit card to (a) dispute the charges; and (b) tolerate them know your card is being used fraudulently. They will issue you a trial card and a new number, though some companies will require you to first submit a notarized affidavit that those are not your charges.

Answers:    No idea how they manage to start billing you, but here is what to do now.

Contact the guard and find out exactly who is billing you. Send them a certified demand communiqu¨¦ that unless they refund your money, or demonstrate that they enjoy an agreement with you to bill you, they must return the money.

Inform the sandbank to cease paying adjectives payments.

suing them will be a chore...but if you want to do it out of principle go for it.
I have also used annualcreditreport.com and I enjoy never received a bill. I did see offers on the site, but I decline the offers.
You signed up for their program. You involve to call them and annul. I had to do that. They will agitate the heck out of you to keep it, but after yell at them they finally cancelled it.

Your credit report is free. It's the credit monitoring and credit scores that are NOT free. You enjoy to be very cautious and read the fine print.
While trying to get a credit report, the individual bureaus expiration up offering their reporting service as an option and unless you're concerned, you may end up accidentally signing up for them. Call the individual bureau and call off the membership.
Maybe it is your scummy credit card company than enrolled you contained by something, not that website. Or maybe someone else charged THEIR sponsorship to your card. Protest the charges w/ the credit card company. Tell them you didn't authorize it, therefore it is fraudulent & you aren't paying it. Notify them by certified communication. We use annualcreditreport.com all the time. I verbs mine, dh & son's reports from a diff. bureau every 4 months (1 from each bureau respectively year). We have never be charged even a single $1 & I started pulling them as soon as it became available. Btw, if you enjoy no credit cards, then not a soul can charge unauthorized crap on them. We live w/o borrowing at all. Wanna try it? Go to the website below to swot up how to get out of debt & stay out.
yes it's not really free, it say so before you sign up, its enormously sneaky, you got to bee fussy on the intraweb
You go to www.freecreditreport.com. It is a credit monitoring service. www.annualcreditreport.com does not charge a fee. It be established due to a change within the Fair Credit Reporting Act, called the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions (FACT) Act. You should phone up your bank to carry the identifying information on the transaction, afterwards call Triple Advantage beside that info.
Tripple Advantge runs a trellis site called freecreditreport.com somehow you get there. Why did it whip you until later that year to find out they be taking out $12 a month. You should be checking your statements monthly and noticed this as soon as you get your statement.

You have 60 days to dispute the charges near your bank, and I would run through the process to do that. This will force the charging company to prove that you authorized the charges. If you did not they will reverse them, if you did you will have to dance through the process to have them stop the political leanings.

It is highly unlikely that someone stole your credit card and signed you up for this, a credit sponsorship is probably not on the top of their list if they own your credit card number.

If you go to annualcreditreport.com you are not asked for any credit card information so here is no way they can charge you.
