1.) for visa buxx, you need a parent to co-sign and have to furnish your SSN...amex you don't need a parent and you don't have to present your SSN, right?
2.) if i am paying for an airplane ticket using amex gift card, what do i put for the expiration date, and if at the supermarket if they say "credit" or "debit", what do i articulate? i want to say debit since the card isn't linked to a edge or a line of credit...but people said that that is to say wrong, if i say debit, they tell me to put contained by a PIN, do i recieve that pin with the gift card?
3.) im still unsure in the region of using gift cards at the airport for tickets and the supermarket, i don't want to embarrass myself, can a GIFT CARD which is not linked to a dune, SSN, or credit/debit buy youua box of cereal or a flight to las vegas? will i grt in trouble with the airport or american express for that?

1. Correct. No SS#. However...you may be asked some question due to the fact even gift card providers must provide homeland protection with info who gets these cards. Same point for prepaid credit cards and bank accounts as well.

2. You may not be capable of buy a airline ticket with the gift card,..I don't know. I basically know Mom couldn't buy gas with hers..so she used it to get a Walmart giftcard yesterday..which worked fine.

3. using it as "credit" is easier..I hold no clue what my PINs are..even for my credit cards. matters little..I hate ATMs.
ATM use is one few times I would necessitate the Pin number.

You can also purchase a VISA Gift Card from www.wellsfargo.com or your local Wells Fargo Bank office, You should NOT use a gift card online to buy an airline ticket. You can move about to the AIrport counter to make that purchase, avoid problems and delays.
