I have polite credit right now, and every month i transport my bill earlier than im suppose to and but this month i sent it (online) the daytime before it be due. i never sent it in when it be so close, but apparently they charged me a late payment..

If you sent it the day formerly it was due, I would telephone call the creditor and ask them why you were charged a slow fee. Explain to them that you sent the wage a day impulsive online and that you have a history of paying prompt, every time. They will likely believe you. If you cannot bring back it straightened out, don't worry. One deferred payment won't destroy your credit. Just make sure you discharge on time from this point forward.
It might not hurt your credit, but some cc companies & banks can jack up your interest rate to nearly 35% if they want to. It's within the terms & conditions that if you're EVER postponed, even one time and it's only 5 minutes past due, they no longer have to honor their promised interest rates when you first get the card. I'd check my interest rate if I were you. If they be in motion up with it, I'd apply for another card and verbs the balance! Oh, and if you do apply for another card, spawn sure it's not with indistinguishable company or bank or they won't allow you to verbs the balance!
I in actual fact work in a canadian ridge. An internet payment pinch 2-3 days to process. The credit card company will record it as a unsettled payment. In canada you own two data to construct your credit rate.
# of months you have credit
x
the number of late/missed payments.
Quick awnser it hurts. But the first two times not that much. Don't repeat it and grasp an authorized payment within your banking justification for the minimum on your card. That way you'll be sure to never be belated.
It won't hurt your credit win at all, but I'm shocked that if you posted it ONLINE the morning before it be due why they charged you a late levy.
I suggest calling them--they tried the same entry with us and we eventually have the fee removed.
Credit card companies do not care when you sent the settlement. They only exactness when they get the pocket money. Depending on when you entered it on-line it may or may not hold been processed within time. You should look at the site and see if it has anything that shows when you salary and when it posts.
The first negative engrave on the credit reports is 30 days. So if you are only 1 or 2 days overdue it will not show up on your report at all. However, they will charge you a behind fee automatically. Depending on the company you may also be moved to the "default" interest rate which is usually much superior. For some companies I have see this in the 30%+ scale.
If you have be a good customer you might want to discuss to them about any removing the late tax and if they did change your interest rate moving that put money on down.
u should be OK, most credit cards cc have a crease time..
How did you dispatch it online, directly on the credit card company's site or through your bank using an online bill wages?
If you paid it directly on the CC company's site, they should credit that to your statement on the date it was remunerated even if it takes a couple of days to "post". I would telephone them and talk roughly speaking removing the late excise.
You may be out of luck if you used a bill pay through your mound.
Watch for them jacking the interest rate on you. If they do, call and request it be lowered stern to what it was. If they won't do it, withdraw their card and get one from someone who requests to keep their flawless customers.
They'll usually do these things if you have have a good depiction with them.
