A furniture store offer no interest/no payments until 2008. What does that really suggest? What are you REALLY going to be paying? What if you
What are you REALLY going to be paying? What if you pay past its sell-by date the furniture before the "deadline?"
Although reading the fine print is other advisable, "no intrest/no payment offer are typicaly just what they say-so they are. Provided the entire balance of the agreement/transaction is settled by the date stated contained by the advertisement or contract, the purchaser pays solely the agreed-upon price. The "catch" if there is one, is that most society take benefit of the "grace period" and then start payments in some style of pre-arranged plan. At that point, the arrangement becomes a moment ago another credit purchase. The "buy now, money later" scheme have been luring those to make monetary committments for plentiful, many years. If I can't afford to obligate myself to a monthly reward today--I don't want to do so 6 or 9 or 12 months from now any. Am I spending money from a raise I'm not sure I'll receive? Next years' tax returns? Hmmm...gotta wonder.
First, if this is one of the larger well-known furniture stores, you are probably within good shape. The commercial is exactly what it says. You'll not be making any payments/interest until sometime surrounded by 2008. And yes you can pay it stale before the deadline near no interest.
However, if you don't pay it stale before the time alloted, adjectives the interest FROM DAY ONE will be added to total.
It's a great way to buy furniture, but you must enjoy the willpower to put enough away respectively month to pay it stale on time. Otherwise, what would be use?
Good Luck.
Answers: Jerry829 is correct.
But you also entail to know that the price of the furniture INCLUDES a premium for the delay within payments and interest. Try offering cash for indistinguishable furniture and you should see the price drop!
it process you don't pay until 2008. but if you cant reward them before next, then when you start paying surrounded by 2008, they will tack on all of the interest you would hold been paying adjectives along to the balance, and next you will be paying interest at about 19 to 30% on the stability.
in my humble leeway, ITS A DEBT TRAP! DON'T DO IT!
The first Answerer was completely correct. That was exactly what I be going to say.
