A customer won't ask their desk clerk to fix their decline credit card issue? So why should they expect a pharmacist to fix their declined insurance
Answers: Usually when a customer is irate, they aren't thinking clearly and want problems fixed "now" so they transport it out on whoever is in front of them...equally there are general public out there that don't realize that pharmacist and insurance are two totally different "jobs". Best article to do is remain calm and poised but not too much...you don't want to belittle. Explain that you understand the frustration, etc., etc. and simply explain and back them understand what they have need of to do.
