A credit card company denied me, can I apply for another one? Best Credit card for college Student? I was denied a Visa platinum credit w/Chase-Chase flexible rewards card. It

I was denied a Visa platinum credit w/Chase-Chase flexible rewards card. It be the 1st c.c I've applied for. Reasons for rejection are:
- 2 many accounts w/ big bal.
-recent deliquencies &/or past due bal.
-2 few accounts on record 4 long

My financial background:
21, 3rd yr university student. Free credit report shows 2 angelic records and 1 potentially discouraging.
The 2 good
1) a nearest and dearest c.c. w/ high bal.13k),single my dad uses it. He pays for everything w/ it & pays a chunk of it(5-10kamonth). Im an authorized user since 1994.
2) student loan(dfrred payment)

The bad: pastdue Victorias Secret sum of $70(paid in full now). I've disputed this b/c I be living abroad when charged& never received a bill surrounded by email/mail

My questions are: 1)is it bleak 2 apply 4 other c.c. soon? will being denied from chase affect probability w/ other c.c.? 2) What are good student c.c.?

I applied for the chase cc but I enjoy miles w/ United& need to use them by 6/08 & the chase card extended them.

Thanks!
try bank of america. they enjoy a college card. Also contact victoria secret first, they should be liable to remove the negative past its sell-by date your credit report since its been compensated.
Capital One might absorb with you ~

Otherwise ~ draw from out of debt and stay out of debt. A credit card is no way to run a life span with a match on a card. Always pay bills ~ in that are no excuses for not paying them.
I am no gonna say I am one hundred sure going on for it.Besides it really depends on the personal feelings.SO it would better for you to find yourself. Here is a flawless resource. http://creditcard.expertips.info/card-co... Being denied does not directly own an affect. However, all applications -- whether approved or denied -- hurt your credit ranking slightly for 1-2 years. You may be approved for another card, but it is less expected.

The first step should be to pay rotten most or all of the set off on the card with $13K, so that here is no longer an account next to a high symmetry.
