Ok, we have a simple cross-examine - we think we know the answer, but entail some confirmation... When an account have been charged bad, can the creditor continue to accrue nouns charges and late fees, etc after the reality?

My hubby had a credit report that was charged stale. The last reported date on his credit reports shows 9/2007. The comments also indicate the side was charged bad. We spoke with the creditor today and he stated to my husband that until we remunerated (almost 3 times the original debt), the explanation was continuing to accrue these charges...

I also wonder why they would closing report $689 on 9/2007 as a charge off, but next turn around and try to sue for $2,072 AND imply that more charges are accrue!

Also, how could we go roughly speaking finding out when the company actually charged bad the account? I am not confident that the later reported date is when it actually charged bad...

I just inevitability someone to maybe shed a touch light for us. Thanks within advance!
They will try to add nouns charges as long as possible. If you are in the position, only file liquidation. There is no reason to be taken power of with such blatant usury.
